New-fashioned and outstanding rooms with a very spacious bathroom, TV, for instance. Variety of goodies for breakfast.

This is like the best place to stay in Dumfries. It has peaceful and great location near Dumfries, and the main town centre. The Hitching Post, where you can eat lunch, is at a medium distance from the hotel.

spacious room but some noise issues
The family room we received was impressively spacious. The cleanliness was noteworthy.
The room faced a busy street, leading to some noise disturbances at night.

Nice room but felt uneasy
We stayed just one night in a family room and the space was comfy, but honestly, the vibe wasn't great. We didn't feel super safe here. The breakfast was alright, but nothing to write home about. Just wish the area had more security, it kinda put a damper on the stay.

The room was super spacious for our family of four, and we loved the amazing shower. We spent some relaxing time in the lovely garden area and enjoyed a nice walk around the hotel. Just a heads up, breakfast was a short five-minute stroll to the sister hotel, but it was totally worth it! 😄
